American Motors Corporation – AMC was an American auto organization
structured by the 1954 merger of Nash-Kelvinator Corporation and Hudson
Motor Car Company. Around then, it was the biggest corporate merger in
U.s. history, George W. Artisan was the designer of the merger to
procure profits from the qualities of the two firms to fight the much
bigger “Big Three” automakers (General Motors, Ford, and Chrysler).
American Motors joined the Nash and Hudson product offerings under a
normal assembling methodology in 1955.
